SCHOOL AGE CHILD CARE:
Our
school age program, known as "Tiger Town Club", provides a warm and
secure environment for elementary and middle school children.
Tiger Town's basic philosophy is the creation of a safe, nurturing
environment where children have fun and opportunities for educational
enrichment and recreation. This program is basically childrens choice but
teacher directed. It permits
freedom within set limits with unstructured, leisure, and restful activities
along with opportunities for physical play. Children are able to choose from a
variety of activities that include structured experiences, informal social
interaction and solitary play which reflect the different needs of the various
ages.
The
children occupy a rather large room located on the main floor.
Adjacent to this room is the Music and Video Room.
"Tiger Town Club" has their own computer and a System 80.
The physical space of the main room is separated
